Description

A two hour, fun-filled cooking class just right for the 10-16 age group. Be a part of our great Love Food Hate Waste cooking workshops these school holidays!  Participants will learn to make better food choices, helping to reduce waste while learning to cook great dishes like individual fruity bread and butter puddings, fresh tomato bolognese bakes and hearty cheesy toasted sandwiches. Workshops are subsidised by Brisbane City Council and are aimed at teaching about using what we have in the fridge and ultimately reducing food wastage. Each child goes home with the food made in the workshop. Children learn to use a  variety of kitchen skills and equipment as well as deciphering recipes.

My daughters both have loved cooking with Come and Cook! I would thoroughly recommend these classes to everyone. Karen empowers kids to have a go in the kitchen and try new foods! The smiles on there faces are priceless, when they come out with the food they made.
